The new feature introduced by Kuda can only be used or supported on any Android device with NFC modules running on version 8.0 or higher. Another new feature that Kuda bank added to its mobile business app is Kuda Payroll, Sales Mode and Business registration.
The bank further disclosed that it would discontinue the free monthly interbank transfers for its Kuda business accounts with effect from 17th March 2023. Subsequently, the Kuda business account holders will be charged a flat rate of #10 for every transfer while the personal account holders will continue to enjoy the 25 free monthly interbank funds transfers.
Remember that in 2019, Kuda bank introduced 25 free monthly interbank transfers with each costing #52.50 (11 cents), thereby saving up to #15,000 ($32.60) for its customers on yearly basis. In 2022, Kuda bank announced they will start charging #50 (11 cents) as a stamp duty charge on all deposits above #10,000 ($21.73).
